- Laying cable runs according to a specified cable plan
- Unreeling the camera cables ("Abtrommeln") and coiling them up ("Aufachten")
- Laying video, audio and electrical cables as instructed
- Supporting the setup of the cameras for camera alignment
- Complete camera dismantling after the end of production
- Setting up video and audio technology equipment as instructed
- Supporting set installation and monitor setup, video and audio
- Helping with stage work that does not require special technical skills, for example placing props and setting up tables and chairs
- Loading and unloading the transport trucks

The work takes place in the environment of ongoing television productions. All tasks are carried out according to the instructions of the technicians, the directing team or the production management. Previous knowledge of event or television technology is not required.
