Questions from applicants
From the first click to the first payslip — the essentials at a glance.
Do I need experience to work through Jobin?
For many jobs, no — they are a good way in. Whatever a particular job requires is always stated in the posting.
Do I need a cover letter or a CV?
No. For a first application your name and contact details are enough. You can add a CV later if you want to — a cover letter is never required.
How soon can I start?
Many jobs are filled at short notice, so starting the same or the next day is not unusual — but we can only confirm it once a specific assignment is set.
Does it cost anything?
No. For applicants Jobin is completely free — there is no placement fee.
How am I employed, and am I insured?
Jobs through Jobin run as regular employment with full social insurance. Registration, contract and payroll are handled by us.
How and how much will I be paid?
Fairly and transparently, at the agreed hourly rate or collective agreement. Pay and duration are stated in the job posting — paid on time, with no hidden deductions.
Can I do this alongside studying, school or a pension?
Yes. Many jobs are by the day or by the project. When and how often is up to you — which suits student jobs, holiday jobs and mini-jobs.
Am I committing to anything long term?
No. You apply for individual jobs that suit you. No standing commitment, no risk.
Can a job lead to something more?
Often, yes. People who show up and get stuck in get booked again — one day quickly turns into more, sometimes into a way into an industry.
FAQ · For companies
Questions from companies
How fast, how flexible, on what terms — and how the process works.
How quickly are staff available?
Frequently within hours. Depending on the region and the volume, short-notice absences can often still be covered the same day.
Which sectors does Jobin staff?
Our focus is film & TV, events, the airport and logistics — wherever reliable hands are needed at short notice.
How flexible is the model?
Very. A single day, a project running for weeks or an ongoing need — scalable up and down, with no tie-in.
How is it invoiced, and what should we budget for?
You pay only for hours actually worked: no fixed costs, no idle wages, no recruiting effort of your own. A specific, non-binding quote follows on request.
Are the people qualified?
We staff from people we know and who have worked in the field before — nobody is placed at random. Which certificates a job calls for depends on the assignment and is agreed beforehand.
What is communication like?
A short line from the request through to the invoice — rather than a ticket system.
Does Jobin work across Germany?
Yes. For high-volume or EU-wide logistics needs, Jobin Germany takes over as well — same house, built for volume.
Does Jobin handle registration and paperwork?
Yes. The people are regularly employed by Jobin; registration, social insurance and payroll run through us.
How does a request work?
Through the “Request staff” page — where, from when, how many and doing what. A proposal usually follows within one working day.
