- Laying cable routes according to a given cable plan
- Unreeling the camera cables ("Abtrommeln") and securing them with figure-eight coiling ("Aufachten")
- Laying video, audio and electrical cables as instructed
- Supporting the setup of the cameras for camera alignment
- Complete camera dismantling after the end of production
- Setting up video and sound equipment as instructed
- Supporting the installation of set decoration and the setup of monitors, video and sound
- Helping with stage work that requires no special technical skills, for example placing props and setting up tables and chairs
- Loading and unloading the transport trucks
