- Laying cable routes according to a given cable plan
- Unwinding camera cables from cable drums (“Abtrommeln”) and coiling them in a figure-eight pattern (“Aufachten”)
- Laying video, audio and electrical cables as instructed
- Helping to set up the cameras for camera alignment
- Complete dismantling of the cameras after the end of production
- Setting up and dismantling video and audio equipment as instructed
- Collecting, cleaning and coiling the cables that were laid
- Helping to install set decorations and set up monitors, video and audio
- Helping with stage work, for example placing props and setting up tables and chairs
- Loading and unloading the transport trucks
